Sarah Millican has been hailed as the Queen of Comedy, so it was with great excitement that we were invited to work on her very first DVD – Sarah Millican Chatterbox Live. Working closely with 4DVD and her management team meant we produced a sleeve that was exciting, eye catching and confident – very much like the comedian herself! The campaign was so successful that it was the highest grossing DVD for a female comedian for 2012 and went on to win Marketing Initiative of the Year in a Specialist category at the 2012 BVA awards.
Conan the Barbarian is not an obvious Christmas gift but we made this into the killer present in 2011 with our eye-catching key art. Working closely with Lionsgate to achieve the best ‘magpie’ effect on rainbow holographic board packaging, what started out as dark and brooding at theatrical became an irresistible stocking filler, supported by a range of press creatives that ensured good stand out in the crowded christmas gifting market.
River Cottage has become a byword for healthy, organic, imaginative cooking, hosted by the charismatic chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. The series River Cottage Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter presents this in an exciting format where cooking with the seasonal foods around us, is central. The packaging, therefore, needed to be as fresh and exciting as the food it portrayed. The country scenes, the mouth watering dishes and Hugh’s welcoming, familiar face give this a warm friendly feel, where even the novice cook can take heart that all is within their grasp.
